Impact
Pointe Shoes Then and Now
How It Impacted Me |
Pointe shoes back then were rough, hard, and flat. They were irritating and gave many blisters. Before, they were uncomfortable to use and standing on your toes with. Now pointe shoes are soft, sleek and comfortable. They can be found starless or with straps. They also come in various colors.

Pointe Shoes impacted a lot on my life because they helped ballet become what it is today. I love the art of ballet because it takes me to a peaceful state of mind. The elegance and straightness of the ballets and ballerinas are amazing. Watching ballet makes me calm and energetic and it makes my personality look good. I am sure the ballet and ballerinas feel some what of this way. Ballet is a piece of work that can be exotic and entertaining and a man named Charles Louise Didelot made it all that come true.
